I always thought it would be so much easier for Valve to just add a "Contributors Cap" that would be given to anyone that has contributed to TF2/Steam.
That way there wouldn't be people asking for separate hats for doing completely different things.

That's called a "Community Weapon". But for some reason they stopped giving those, it's like they want to make a more specific reward for each type of contributor (Map Maker, Translator, Wiki Editor, etc)

I'm trying to rationalize this.

I was talking with Ronin minutes before going to bed, so that makes sense. Also I'm getting anxious to start my new job, and I have no idea what the building even looks like, so it's just my mind filling in what it knows as a large meeting place looks like.

But ND... I have no idea why. The only thought is I've been looking for a Whiff of the Ol' Brimstone and was going back and forth on if I wanted to buy it or not, laughing to myself that I'd be just handing him money. That's literally the only explanation I can think of, and actually probably is the explaination, since I only knew it was ND, since Ronin asked me if I wanted the "bloody bombs he made" before pulling out his wallet.
