If they have a recipe to craft a key to unlock a rainbow world out of all of that garbage, man that would be hilarious.
I am slowly beginning to think all the new craft ingredients are just garbage. Which, would make it funny for anyone who bought a secret diary.
Uhhh, guys, was this crack always there?
Heavy - "I fear no man, but that thing, scares me"
It's not surprising that scout, the youngest, would confuse his own assumptions with facts, and that the older mercs simply accept that they dont know.
you got action, you just got it from a different angle. Imagine the entire video in real life, and it's the most action packed, destructive meet the team video yet
I got like 15 seconds of action and 2 minutes of lollipops, rainbows, and babies.
The parts where there was actually burning were cool though.
Well, I can see some people didn't like it, but I think it was a great example of Source Filmmaker. It showed how it can be used to create both serious and non-serious narratives.
"Meet the Pyro" was entertaining and character-appropriate, and a nice way to end the Meet the Team series. However, for me, "Meet the Spy" shall forever remain the pinnacle of Valve's ability to effectively advertise a video game.
So basically, good shit all around.
lol, I'm getting boxes for the shirt or my opinion?

oh my god
I actually thought that was really creepy. Even darker than Meet the Spy. Amazing video.
I should be working, but I'm gonna say this:
It's decent. Maybe my least favorite next to Meet the Heavy, just due to sheer predictability. That isn't to say it's not great. It's just that I'm holding this to tf2 standards.
Meet the Pyro gives the impression that they've had this script floating around for a very, very long time. We're being introduced to a personality, without the gradually larger storytelling elements that cropped up in these videos. The problem is that it doesn't leave as much of an impact after what, 5, 6 years? We weren't well-acquainted with the soldier when we met him, so it was striking. With, say, the sniper, we got a more cinematic video that took care of that problem, then the following Meet The Spy raised the bar, Medic did it again, and Pyro took us back to square one.
Still, I'm focusing on the bad in a video i'd rate 10/10. The directing was fantastic.
If Day 3 is only Meet the Pyro, I will be sad.
Yeah that's why they listed a Day 3 link that is not yet enabled yet we know something special and MtP related is behind it. Why would they put MtP on the front page if the Day 3 page has MtP?

Holy shit, I love it. And there's a t-shirt
http://store.valvesoftware.com/product.php?i=CTF001
I am quite disappointed with this. All it explained was even his own team is scared of him and he doesn't even know he is killing people. Other than that, there wasn't anything new or interesting shown.
I also think the overdid all the cute-stuff. All the dark, horrifying parts like when he broke down the door and where he kills the Sniper were awesome though, it should have been more like that. The Pyro didn't even need any explaining, it could of just been stuff like that for 2 minutes and i'd have been happy.

God damn I love Valve.
I really hope that Sniper scream gets added to the game.
TEAM FORTRESS 2
INFLATABLE BALLOONICORN
Inflatable Balloonicorn

DO WANT
Holy cock, I don't understand why people are dissapointed with this. This greatly exceeded my expectations. The length is a small factor, as they say, it's quality not quantity, and MTP was a shit-tonne of quality.
that...that was the reveal in there??
No TOBOR? No MvM?
Alright, remmber how I said feel free to be optimistic and all that shit?
This update is getting fairly dissapointing.
we still have day 3
There was a button at the top left that took me here http://www.teamfortress.com/pyromania/www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUhOnX8qt3I
Guys, did you get a load of the non-fluffy music?
That's goddamn nuts. Looking forward to hearing that ingame.
That exceeded my expectations.
Thought a bit short, i'm amazed.
Now Valve...about Day 3...~
Scout looks like hes tugging on something other than his dog tags.... Like a medal of some sort
I wonder what art style purists who quit playing TF2 would think if you showed them the official Meet the Pyro merchandise, like the Balloonicorn items, without context.
It's TF2 FOR KIDS!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that scream the scout scream from the Sandvich vid?
Can we all agree that the Uber Update>Pyromania?
