It would be cool if the rainbow flamethrower was a part of that backpack, like make the back pack a misc that changes client particles and view models to the rainbow flamethrower.

I'd be surprised if they make the rainbow flamethrower an actual item, it would have a very cumbersome viewmodel.

What other Adult Swim TF2 promos/events do you guys think were implied on the sign up page?

I wonder the opposite of what you wonder! What does pyro see the heavy's minigun as when it mows him down? Is he becoming more happy? Or is it a disturbance to his fantasy? We'll probably never know since the blu's didn't have guns... Also rainbow time: we'll get another bideo for TOBOR.

So guys, what's your favourite death from Meet the Pyro? Mine is surely the Medic one, it was so perfectly designed.

My bad.[/QUOTE] In my opinion the whole "Baby's view of the world" thing was pushed way too far. Those first two scenes of the pyro axeing the Heavy and shooting the Scout were enough to get the point across. It would have carried much more impact if it had used the remaining time to show just how much devastation the Pyro caused and just how psychopathic he really was.

I love when someone says that the site is down, then everybody else have to check it out and it's... dead longer.

Showing the gore in the Meet the Team shorts is a better way to make it inspire dread for players. The ending with the Sniper was actually terrifying, but when I kill a Gibus Sniper in-game, I don't look at it that way.

meh , i may be totally late , but , i've realized that the pyro mask doesnt really say Fireproof or gas mask , it says OPTICAL. i mean , this may not be quite related but what if its the mask that causes that?? XD

if they do add the dream weapons what stats do you think they'll have?

My bad.[/QUOTE] The gore in this video is more hardcore than that of the demo or solly vids if you ask me. That scene where the gore splatters on the camera is just enough to make my imagination fill the in the detail and the sound was just heightening more and more as the scene goes.

the sounds in the violent scenes were excellent

So whats the general consensus of this update/video? I feel that the amount of hype behind the video was something that Valve couldn't possibly deal with in a way to make all parties happy. Its like that Judge Dredd movie where Sly Stallone played him and took his helmet off, which he never does in the comics, that pissed all the fans off. I think it was a smart move for Valve to play it safe by not revealing anything major about the Pyro. As for the update itself, I am still hopeful we are getting more packs as the next possible major content update will probably be Manniversary which is at the end of September.

What you see in the first image happened.
