I hope the flamethrower shoots flames, but only in first person. An amusing set bonus would be that (assuming no Meet the Pyro flaregun/bubble wand is included) if the Scorch Shot is worn with the Meet the Pyro set, the Scorch Shot also fires bubbles (again in first person only).

I think valve will release it at the end of their work day, to be fair to all (read: all U.S.) timezones.
