Also Everything is Illuminated is pretty good.

If you like mind-fuck movies, check out Primer. It's a really deep and complex time travel movie you have to watch multiple times to get.

As for me, I'm not an anime person but I recently saw the first half of the first episode of Cowboy Bebop on YouTube and am now intrigued into checking out the series. I guess that will be what I do tomorrow.
