You get silver, because I got silver and apparently started at the end of August '08 as well. That's also what I voted because it's what I have, even though gold is really shiny and I knew it was in the lead even before I saw the results.

Silver. I never really cared for the color gold much.
I got bronze, though. I bought the pc version in December 2008.
It's a little sad that people who have been playing since late 2008 get the same thing as someone who joined yesterday.

I remember using most of my birthday money to buy the Orange Box in '07. I thought I would miss gold initially, but I didn't. I think they all look pretty much the same, to be honest though. Bronze is extremely similar to gold, and since many are silver or bronze, they assume I've got bronze as well. But, my gold medal is certainly fun to troll with.
