Like it or not, whatever Valve decides to add to the game is what the art style is. TF2 stopped being a 60s sci-fi movie poster a long time ago. Kvetching about it at this point, this far past when the original artstyle stopped existing, is entirely pointless.

Leyendecker, as well as Dean Cornwell and Norman Rockwell Works of art The [b]THEME[/b] is inspired by sabotage and spy/bond movies with some sci-fi thrown in

What do they mean by the Adult Swim store coming to Steam?

I find that the art-style has remained the same for the most part (deviating from the original colour-pallet would be the one exception). The [I]theme[/I], however, is another story. [editline]Edit:[/editline] what Psyke said

Its amazing that only one promotional item in all of TF2's history, had to be drastically different because of all the backlash of the original model. (CrimeCraft Promo) And if the Dangeresque Shades are the item that Robin thinks bends the artstyle as far as possible, then he should stop lying to himself.

It's a 5 year old game. I'm happy it's still getting updates, for better and for worse. (I do like these costumes, though).
