The framerate was slow.
I hate people who call pyro's W+M1...isn't that what you do in every game?
Because typically most classes require a bit more finesse than just bum-rushing the enemy and somehow succeeding, which I've seen alot of actually. It's also a negative label that became popular when the Back-Burner added more HP, making bum-rushing Pyros more successful, NOONE used the regular flamethrower during those times if they had the BB. Even though the BB no longer offers that HP buff, the "W+M1" label has stuck.
Hah, that arrow reflection at 1:16 was awesome. :v:
The looks on the faces of other layers on that server would be like :aaaaa:
I liked it, even if it was pub movie, good job!
Interesting video, but I'm not a big fan of those frag videos that take themselves too seriously. Sure you are really good, much better than me, I just don't like those videos.

This is a nice mix of editing and kills.

I don't do W + M2, I do M1 + M3 :smug: (Actually I fail at airblasting so :ohdear: )
i must say, the arrow reflecting is impressive. :golfclap:
I guess this is alright. I mean, all of these airblasts aren't that hard to do, and they seemed like very lucky "death spams" sort of. Like, you just hit mouse2 half of the time because you thought you were going to die, not because you were confident in the outcome.
rated 5star thanks to the flare reflect awesome
this is nice man. :)
"Bag-baarner is for babies!"
That's just a bunch of single kills against pubbers with some editing and unnecessarily long clips in between kills. And the music was very meh.
What's so bad about that :S? Most of the kills he showed off were ones that did take pretty good skills to achieve, and the lenth of the clips was probably to prevent the whole "I cut out every part that makes me look bad so people will think I'm awesome" attitude :S Sure, he probably doesn't pull of those feats every time, but those things he showed are things that not happen to often, and that he had so many of them proves he really can't be that bad. I kinda agree about the music though... I'm not much into the whole "Frag movie with nothing but music to it" thing people tend to make.
For all prospective deflectors: Situation: A sniper/soldier/demo/pyro who hasnt seen you coming sees you at the last moment. Solution: Wait 0.18 seconds and then airblast at close range while aiming at his head (aim for the body for non-snipers). (((0.18 second is the minimal time that a brain responds to light stimuli through the eyes.))) Situation 2: A reflectable class sees you coming, fires a shot at you. Solution: -Soldier: Rockets are slow so fire to whatever direction hes strafing while closing the gap to a nice distance. -Demoman: Aim further up when the demop is further away, beginner deflectors wont do much to a good demoman at long range, follow the soldier strategy after that. -Sniper w/Huntsman and/or Jarate: Arrows are fast and small, so you need to be good at deflecting them to actually score kills, even better for headshots. Jarate CAN be reflected and try to use that to your advantage when in a pinch. for example: four whatevers want to kill you, one ios a jarate sniper, reflect jarate and W+M1. Post-note: Dont rely on one tactic, Pyros rely on their ability to surprise and deal massive damage in short bursts.
This is why I NEVER use the backburner.
That just a fraction of W+M2 gameplay. All we've seen in this video is deflections of projectiles. Playing W+M2 is a lot more of using combos with any other weapon (Shotgun, Flare gun or any Axe) to finish them off thanks to the compression blast used to take control the enemies movement. If you play W+M2, you should really promote that type of gameplay though your videos, - It's not just about deflecting projectiles -. :)
This video demonstrated more what awesome and weird kills you can get with the Compression blast. And a bit less of the real W+M2 style, don't worry there's a chance of a new W+M2 video by us.
Because game critics need to make games and film critics need to make movies just to say their opinion?
No. Critics just need to shut the fuck up.
You reflect a projectile and then switch to a second scene Anyone can do this eventually...
I love the video editing. Subtle but great, and fits the game.
I kinda wish Valve would find a way to make the backburner appealing to the public again, to make it not just "a noob weapon". I just think it's sad that there is an unlockable that you're basically not allowed to use unless you want to be shunned by everyone around you :(
Cool vodeo dude. Realy loved it  Hope i never play agaist you :P
No. Critics just need to shut the fuck up.
yeah everyone should just make crappy stuff and get praised and never progress in whatever theyre doing heres CC for you, stop post
yeah everyone should just make crappy stuff and get praised and never progress in whatever theyre doing
No. Apparently some random dickheads that doesn't know a shit should bark about it, ofcorse. Here's the CC for YOU, now stop barking.
