The last picture sometimes happens to me too (only the 8-bit color palette), but that's when I exited programs like vanilla Doom 2.
That's some pretty strange screenshots, there.
granary 666 another granary
GPU is overheating.
I once had snow particle that looked like semen covering all of my screen on koth_viaduct and an acid trip on plr_pipeline.
I deleted the screenshots though. :frown:
This sort of thing happened to me in Fallout 3 once.
took a while sitting here waiting for all the images.
Fire seems to be the most frequent texture to appear when those bugs happen
IIRC the texture system works in a way that the fire texture is on the models at all the time, just hidden when not on fire
They're gonna make you play Team Fortress 2. IN HELL!

that looks rad
I had exactly the same problem all once in a while.
It's was not caused by the graphic card. Turn off multicore rendering.I did and it didn't happen in 2 months now :niggly:
Graphics card pooped into it's memory. It doesn't have to be overheating for this to happen, but it might be one of the causes. It can be completely random, but it might also repeat. In that case prepare to buy a new one.
I had something similar with Hl2 Last night. i don't even run windowed

Ignore all other fail explanations, this was due to your screen setting its color schedule to 16bit instead of the default 32 bit. But it looked cool actually.
No you're a fail explanation
Where can i get tickets to the Glitchy Granary?
---
Jesus Christ, it lurked right onto you D-Art account and stole one of your works to put it in the game.
I WANT TO GET THERE AS FAST AS I CAN.
I must rent a summer house there.

This is completely stupid explanation.
:wtc:
This happened to me on Gmod once but never again and never on another game.
Turn off multicore rendering.I did and it didn't happen in 2 months now :niggly:
I will not. This is the first time multicore rendering did anything "bad" for me, and it was actually kinda cool.
Somebody on another site posted a very believable explanation:
Basically whats happening is when the game loads the map, it loads all the textures and such into your video card memory. When your computer freezes up for a few seconds, the card loses track of where some textures are stored in the memory, and assuming it doesn't crash completely/bluescreen/restart, the card just loads any random texture into the spots where there are missing textures.

you have drunken f00l on ur friends list?
Yeah I used to play on his servers all the time (only stopped because I got sick of shit like 32-player hydro and 2fort). Now I just play 24-player servers. But he has like 250 Steam friends, so I don't think I'm anything special.

Rated agree
The "symbols" at the edge of the map is the gib textures.
Wow never seen such things in my life f*cked up textures and everyting
Games would suck without glitches.
My G-mod freaks out like this sometimes.
Basically the Girder texture replace the ground textures and shit went haywire.
amazing, i want this as a texture pack.
1788 hours of TF2 played?
Well I'm a dirty cheater, and I'm pretty sure that time spent using the idler program (and sitting in idle servers) counts toward total play time.
If you add up my total time played as each class, it's more like 800 hours.
someone needs to make this a map.
in fact, i think i will try my hand at it sometime if i can get my hammer to work.
I wish I could go to Glitchy Granary for summer vacation.
Wow my post was completely ignored.
Fine have frequent crashes see if I care.
