Wow, Valve are slowly becoming EA. Effectively hiding the fact that they are putting prices on extra content.
L4D2 is of no interest to me so why should i be further excluded from TF2 from everyone with a Bill Hat? Let alone the fact that over the months since the random crop system came out I have had 0 hats, this really is another kick in the balls, but anyone who has a hat will disagree with me, whatever.
You'll rate me dumb i guess, but just mark my words they are becoming EA, it's happening, and when it does, don't say no one warned you.

NO!! if you pre-order via retail you get none of the goodies. the specail bat, early demo release, and bills hat are only attainable via steam pre-order (speaking strictly PC version)

Why would anyone who doesn't like L4D or want L4D2 want a Bill hat? sounds more like you just want every hat even if you don't use them just so you can brag about it, this is my first hat and I love L4D so it's a nice addition to my TF2.
And unlike what other people are saying, I didn't pay $40 for a hat (although I only paid $25 thanks to the 4 pack), I paid that money for an exclusive baseball bat, early access to the L4D2 demo and to get the game as soon as it comes out (preloading yay), the hat is just an extra that nobody who pre-ordered before even knew about, a nice extra I might say.

We pre-ordered L4D2, most of us did it for the 10% discount. We also got a baseball bat, and now Valve are trying to increase sales by extending it out to the TF2 community?
