Blog Update : Get Bill's Hat By Preordering L4D2! - Games

Well this might actually work, I might buy L4D2 for a hat. :(

I bought the game today, the hat thing really pushed me into buying the pre order.

I pre-ordered the game in the first week of it becoming available, and even then I purely pre-ordered it for the discount and the bat (even more discount due to 4-pack) The hat is just a minor thing and a "thank you" thing for pre-ordering. Heck, imagine the people who pre-ordered L4D2 but don't have TF2.

I like how VALVe is now using the hats to bribe people into doing something. The hats are mind controllllll. :eng101:

Why the fuck are people complaining? This is a free hat, the only reason they're putting it in is for more free stuff. It doesn't really fit with any class besides the soldier, and you can live without it. Most people just got 2 Halloween hats, so stop whining about MORE free stuff your getting from Valve.

I found another difference between European's and US' servers! In European ones, one of 50 has got a beret. In US ones, one of 2 has got a beret.

I have my Halo on half the classes and my beret on the others.

I am hearing reports that people who tried scamming (Preorder Left 4 Dead 2, Get hat, Cancel Preorder) are finding out that their hats are vanishing. Can anyone confirm?
