sapper's gonna make all dedicated engies quit the game
sapper's gonna make all dedicated engies quit the game
More likely it gets nerfed.
Kong King looks awesome.
Pretty sure they explode Oh and it was Ronin + me Neon Sign + Tattoos Svdl + Bang Cleaver + Shirts Ducksink + Sexy robot Sapper + Glasses Nidhogg + Opeth Minigun + Helmet
I am not suprised. :v:
oh what. So it saps quickly and it leaves a nice hunk of metal behind?
RIP Groucho.
This new sapper is perfect for gunslinger engineers. Not sure about the other weapons.
edit: Ah, ok, I see. It seems to be a matter of player choice between the two sappers, then.
(on paper) Worst. Update. Ever.
The sapper looks way too situational, although I could be reading it wrong. From what I understand, it can only sap buildings being built, which is quite a small timeframe to sap.
No, it UNBUILDS buildings, even if they are built. So a level 3 sentry will revert to a level 2, then a level 1. The Neon Sign and the Minigun are hilariously bad. SUPER SITUATIONAL CRIT MELEE FOR PYRO! ANTI-SPY MINIGUN! HOORAY.
The sign looks like a decent weapon if Mad Milk and Jarate can inflict "wet"...If not well then it's awful.
(on paper) Worst. Update. Ever.
We can't really write it down on paper just yet as we still have the new KOTH map to come.
From what I've seen of the new sapper, the building you sap becomes a toolbox if you sap a building while it's building.

So who made which item? I might harass the weapon makers to craft the new items for me in return for me supplying the ingredients and doing dubious legal acts to their enemies... Also, I love how the new shirt + jewellery is like the heavy + sniper shirt by SVDL and the lounge lizard at the same time.
The Neon sign gives Pyros a fighting chance in water environments which would be useful if any mAPS HAD LARGE AMOUNTS OF WATER
2fort and Well, and i assume if anyone uses jarate and mad milk.
ditto
that list is like an A-Team of Facepunch modellers Anyways, the multi-class miscs are nice, and there should be more items like that. The Groucho Marx goggles are finally in game in some form, and the cleaver + sapper are pretty neat as well, although apparently the sapper needs a few kinks worked out. It's just the sign is really random and the Minigun can burn people. Model-wise, it's a pretty great update. (inb4 every scout is rocking an open shirt with a fast learner for mass-douche points though)
I tested the new Pyro melee weapon. It doesn't just crit anything in water, but also anyone soaked in Mad Milk or Jarate. So if you're dripping wet, avoid any Pyro with this weapon out.
The Pyro weapon is terribly situational. I doubt anyone will use it.
(inb4 every scout is rocking an open shirt with a fast learner for mass-douche points though)
You forgot the hot pink paint for further douche points.
The Pyro weapon is terribly situational. I doubt anyone will use it.
It's great if you camp in the sewers on 2Fort.
The Pyro weapon is terribly situational. I doubt anyone will use it.
Damn shame too, everything about that weapon is awesome except for the stats. Does it crit if both of you are underwater?
Awesome update. Is the tattoo a decal?
Does it crit if both of you are underwater?
Yep
The Heavy's gun sounds like it basically makes him impossible for Spy to kill without being caught on fire or something? Sounds a bit stupid.
Haven't played with the new sapper but I know the toolbox (if you stab an engie carrying something, eg) only gives you half an ammo box (cloak-wise) whereas building pieces give you about a sixth each and there's loads of em, more than a full cloak bar even with DR. That's reason enough not to bother for the most part, to me.
Supporting Ronin and the other creators and spending the $20 to buy the pack, these new items are awesome
The Heavy's gun sounds like it basically makes him impossible for Spy to kill without being caught on fire or something? Sounds a bit stupid.
Only if he's spun it up. Which he probably wont be doing much because of the massive ammo penalty.
The new sapper is great for ruining an engineer's day when he has all buildings built and upgraded to level 3.
Sober Stuntman Helmet Without a Home Human Cannonball stop please...
