[/QUOTE] I dont understand the argument that monster kill was clever or genuine. A hell of a lot of people know about this during halloween, and im certain he did it with the intent of submitting it. I mean, of course it was staged, he quite literally set it up. Also, none of the comedy entries were humorous, but i appreciate the quality of the lighting, animation, and voice work on max's part.

Wishmaker won best comedy? I mean it was well made and stuff, but... but it wasn't funny. I guess people will upvote anything with 'Epic' in the title, all it needs now is an edit that adds an xD and it'll be this year's ultimate winner.

Maker of 'Sabotage' here, Max's Wishmaker video was really well done and I think he deserves the award as much as all the other finalists. There's no need to argue or get mad about it.

Max video was well animated, no one can deny that. But classified as comedy with poor and predectible jokes? Nope.

these things always seemed rigged. amateurs seem to never really get a chance while those with years upon years of experience will inevitably win.. case in point, max and previously mentioned, some guy who works for bioware. these things should be restricted to novices and advanced rather than "i can make a work of art in less time than you can make something even worthy of comparison to mine"

Sure, animation is great im not going to deny that. But this lacked Comedy, and he won for, you guessed it, Comedy. There where other entries that SHOULD have won, but instead, he won because "Its MaxofS2D" or "Look how great looking this video was!". So in all honesty, Max should not have won it. Maybe in category "Best looking animation", but they didn't have that. Edit: Spelling errors.

I agree with what's being said about the winner of the Comedy award, it seems to me that it was judged solely on animation and how good the video looked in general and not actually for it's comedic value. That being said it had literally no comedic value for me, I didn't even crack a smile. Sorry. This made me remember how controversial was that Badwater D video during the first Saxxy awards.

I'm not even updated on why everyone hates Max, so I'm not going to base my opinion on that, but I don't think the video deserved to win out of those nominated. Good animation, but it wasn't funny at all.

I'm extremely disappointed Practical Problems didn't win.

ehhh, sabotage and meet the saxton were frankly not very well put together all-around and I personally didn't vote for them practical problems was fantastic, but it suffered from missing the soundtrack it was designed around and the animation was lacking, especially in the hands max's video was technically the best. humor-wise, eh, didn't make me smile as much as practical problems in its original form did, but it did at least make me smile I'm not a fan of Max's but I am willing to admit that my personal vendetta against him is entirely motivated by one time where he made a thread for a thirty second long animation test and got really pissy when I asked why he didn't post it in the Media thread which was like two years ago and is so stupidly petty that I'm willing to get over it. yo max, you're good damn good at animating. get a better writer.
