The WIP texture for the Electro-bovine prod.
It still looks empty. Anyone mind giving me some feedback?
:v:
I personally prefer using the old Nailgun as a Force-A-Nature replacement. It clips a bit, but it looks awesome!

The firing must look ridiculous
Well that was awkward. Doesn't make the nail gun an amazing weapon, but now I know I can use my Necronomicon and revive annoying siblings after I've had my way with them.
:v:
This is why nailguns are awesome.

I just pretend it's shooting out super-heated nails... as silly as that sounds.
But hey!: TF2 is silly.

Not in the slightest. Though it would suck to die like that.

Yeah, but I mean Valve should bring them back. :P
If they don't, I'd love a nailgun for the Engie. Just makes sense.
EDIT: To clairfy my statement, I'm waiting until AFTER the Engie update before I download that.

Oh fuck you that made me cringe.

Got pictures of that?

I had some, but they are gone now. With my main computer broken and I don't have much room for steam games on this loaner computer, I couldn't very easily get some new ones.
I do however have the files on this computer, if you'd like to install the Nailgun and see for yourself.
Okay :buddy:
I hope you like it. I must admit it didn't clip as much as I thought I would while "making" (aka hex editing) it. I still won't publicly release it since it still clips, but I'll give it to anyone who drops me a PM.

Why not just use [img_thumb]http://image.fpsbanana.com/ss/skins/87933a.jpg[/img_thumb] to show him?
Sorry for not replying in a while but this is what I've been working on instead of hats, it's a Red Ryder BB Gun, I think it suits the scout perfectly due to it's toy theme, the advertisements match those for the Force-A-Nature.

"You'll shoot your eye out!"

The concept behind the gun:
Pros:
Fires Directly at the crosshair.
Conistent damage at mid and close range.
No spread (Don't really know if this is a pro)
Cons:
-50% Clip Size
-30% Damage Done
-Slow Reload
-Heavy Recoil
-Damage degrades at longer ranges (prevents scouts from sniping at targets)
Pretty much it's just a more accurate weapon, firing a single bullet rather than multiple ones. It has close to perfect accuracy at mid/close ranges but it is terrible at long distance (due to degrading damage). Also the toy theme of a BB Gun gives reason (not exactly necessary in TF2) for it's weak damage.
Honestly, it's barely useful.. unless you'd be shooting faster.
Around 55-68 damage per shot at point blank-medium ranges, 3 shots would give us around 165-204 damage, enough to kill most of classes.. but then you must be pretty accurate to deal any damage. If not, scout with scattergun could wipe you out faster.
It shoots nails :v:
That's news to me.
As for the model, I think it's too big for Scout..
