The problem is that your profile is and probably was set to Friends Only when you tried to sign in. (mine was set to private)
clear cache and delete cookies, then read what the site is trying to redirect you to:
http://www.tf2bazaar.com/pages/private
I waited for a few hours, then made my profile public BEFORE trying to log in again.
The very first time I tried my profile was still private. And at the tries right after setting it to public after that didn't work due to the site's server cache still thinking it isn't public.
After the successful login and choosing of the language you can change it back to friends only or private. (until you want to start a trade obviously)

At least I'm guessing that's what caused the redirect issue.
The site somehow wanted to redirect me to http://www.tf2bazaar.com/users/languageselect and http://www.tf2bazaar.com/pages/private at the same time
Ah yes. When you first login to TF2Bazaar you are presented a list of languages to choose when browsing the site. Thank you for discovering this bug, we'll work on getting it fixed so that you are only redirected to the Private Profile message and not both at the same time.
For future reference to anyone using this website, if your profile is set to private you will not be able to use TF2Bazaar until you set it to public.
Be sure to clear your cache and cookies after you have set your profile to public.
Auctions and that Advanced Item Filtering thing are more than enough to set this apart from TF2outpost and TF2tp.
I hope a lot of people get to know the website.
well I just got banned for one day from TF2OP for "Fake offer"
By offering a vintage concheror for a bunch of crap
So I guess I'll use this
Have you considered using the TF2B icons for items?
Have you considered using the TF2B icons for items?
We really couldn't care less about using them.
Glad to see more options when it comes to trading sites
I'm hoping to see this gain some extra popularity, the extra features in this actually seem rather handy.
If I could make a recommendation, perhaps sorting the items in the search page into different sub-pages for each class, plus one for tools and such? At the moment it's a bit tedious to have to sort through 14 sub-pages of items with little apparent organisation. True, there is a search filter, but for those who can't remember or don't know the name of an item I think it'd be safe to have a class-based system.

I do like the option to select craftability, gift tags, effects and whatnot in your search menu, though. Definitely something most other sites are lacking.
Not to seem elitist but I hope this doesn't become the top trading site for the sole purpose that the TF2 community generally tends to ruin great things when they discover them. However there seems to be enough safeguards in place that hopefully this won't be the case. Regardless, best of luck to you guys.

Ah thanks for the help
It says that my profile is private but it isn't
Dammit, Chilling's getting all the publicity. :c
Can I attempt adding Finnish language for this?
Perkele, I wanted to do this.
Is a dutch translation needed? I wouldn't mind helping out.

We'll add class filters in the next update. I should also mention that you can favorite an item by selecting the star icon on it. Favorited items will appear first in the item list to save you time.

game filters would be nice, too. I'd like to see trades that involve at least one dota 2 item.

There's already a game filter when adding a new trade (ignore Portal 2).

I do not believe we have anyone translating Dutch at the moment.
Looking pretty good...
[/GLaDOSvoice]
But whatever you do, do NOT let anyone on SUF know.

Yeah, but I mean an option to view all trades, but only trades involving dota 2 items.
.
I can help getting this published in turks community, as well as translating it to turkish with no price.

Translating is free :P
Though you do get Silver VIP benefits from translating
Normal items are banned from selling?
But isn't that most of them at the moment?
Normal items are banned from selling?

He means those grey items. Yellows are actually considered unique quality.
As I've said, looks awesome, but there needs to be a way to hide the "<x> user has posted a comment on your profile" notification on the homepage on demand.
The other notifications like the one about normal quality items I can see not allowing to be hidden, though.

what did he say lol
what did he say lol
He snipped it before anyone got a glimpse at it. Also, what's with the lol? Was the snipped message funny in some way?

I think he uses lol as a period.
Calling Stock "Normal quality" is confusing with the yellow "Unique" quality.

Ah. Yes, we will certainly add an option for this!

I've been changing the code of those alert boxes, you should be able to close them now. I have gotten a report that they continue to display even after closing them, so please let me know if this happens to you.
