Last time I speculated about TF3 I received PM death treats, an army of birds shitting on me during five days and a pony head in my bed. People here don't like the idea of TF3 being a thing, it seems
Can I have my head back Thanks
use the red tape recorder and watch the Robots unbuild themselves into a little wind up toy :v:
When the sapper finishes, it's literally a flatpacked commercial box of "Build You Own TOBOR! <Just add oil!>"
Hm, I sure hope all classes have new voice lines, it would just suck if it was just those 4 classes.
Well, only a few classes have Payload lines (Scout, Sniper and Heavy), it could be possible that only those four get MVM lines
That answers the question to the guy who earlier posted asking if you could sap the robots.
I'm guessing you'll only be able to sap the robots from behind, similar to the knife
Why can't it just revert to a toy robot or a small baby-sized robot with a diaper that cries? Probably not as good as the other ideas.
When the sapper finishes, it's literally a flatpacked commercial box of "Build You Own TOBOR! <Just add oil!>"
You mean blood.
The apparent Dota2-style chat system is what I am most excited for.
Just caught up on the MVM history lesson and finished the comic. Oh my god.
-snip- Considering THNK! really doesn't seem like a stab to me and there was no visual cue that he was stabbed. Why can't you just respect my incorrect theory, you do it to everyone else :(
reading some of the filenames on the files i can predict there will be some sort of lobby ala L4D to play this mode, who knows maybe it will change the way we log in to servers it self, i dare to say.... [sp]matchmaking?[/sp]
What if MvM is a pulled out top down style zerg rush defense. I implore someone to find something that says it isnt.
I'm really worried about how everyone's saying Blutarch and Redmond were killed by Gray. But to my knowledge, only Blutarch was stabbed by Gray Redmond will be back in the next comic wondering what the hell just happened as he recovers from his temporary death. It might be a while, as in 1965 Blutarch said to the Engineer that he stays dead for longer each day. 3 years later, ouch Another thing, the Life Extending Machine must have some way to cleanse or renew cells as they age, otherwise they would die all the time. The electricity just can't be enough to keep them defibrillated for this long. So what if it helps them regenerate tissue? I'm sure a not-dying machine can do it's defined purpose, as in make sure they don't die. If they get stabbed, even though they're 146, they'll still survive because they have a machine that stops them dying. I wonder if anyone read this?
obcoolj don't ruin your good streak, you've been doing alright, now is not the time to revisit things that even those who's heads are literally made of tin-foil have already dismissed.
The apparent Dota2-style chat system is what I am most excited for.
You mean the chat channels? Because those are spammed with traders :v: Or are you talking about something else

Even though I never had a good streak
http://pastebin.com/CQbpLq1L Engineer, Heavy, Soldier and Medic.
wait I'm confused, are these the lines of the robots themselves why would heavy comment on a robot being sapped
Some of the faces in that comic were priceless.
wait I'm confused, are these the lines of the robots themselves why would heavy comment on a robot being sapped
'ROBOT DOWN" Something like that?
Anyone saying that he didn't actually kill them isn't thinking very critically right now. Valve is not run by M. Night Shamalamadingdong and they wouldn't go "HE WAS ALIVE THE WHOLE TIME WAHT A TWEEST!" That's just terrible writing and I don't think they'd degrade themselves like that, especially since more than one person has predicted that they were still alive. I have more faith in them than that.
Maybe Gray is the spy. He has the same build, is good with a knife and wears the same clothes. (I'm not serious)
So wait... If Redmund and Blutarch are dead now, why are BLU and RED still fighting? ADMINISTRATOR WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Some of the faces in that comic were priceless.
I love how ominous and badass Gray Mann looks. He is already my favorite comic character.
You mean the chat channels? Because those are spammed with traders :v: Or are you talking about something else
In dota 2? well, that will happen in tf2, but at leas you can make your own party chat and so on.
You must literally have not read the comic. Redmond dies right here:
In my honest personal opinion, to me that would be construed as a stab only if you were looking for a specific event like that
So wait... If Redmund and Blutarch are dead now, why are BLU and RED still fighting? ADMINISTRATOR WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
god, please understand for the (I HOPE) LAST TIME: THE COMIC IS SET IN THE FUTURE
So wait... If Redmund and Blutarch are dead now, why are BLU and RED still fighting? ADMINISTRATOR WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
"Sometime in the future"
TL;DR: There's literally nothing that Valve could do in a sequel to TF2 which they couldn't address through patches and updates.
Not really true. TF2's cosmetic system is, quite frankly, a cobbled together mess. It's glitchy, unoptimized, and generally dysfunctional. They have the code to fix this - they're using it in DotA 2, but implementing it would require a complete overhaul of the game, at which point you've basically gone and made TF3. TL;DR: They could improve the most important feature in TF2: hats!
Maybe Gray is the spy. He has the same build, is good with a knife and wears the same clothes. (I'm not serious)
Honestly I think Gray may be affiliated with/own Spy Tech. He has the same body type as Spy, uses a knife, is really smart so he would be able to invent the things at Spy Tech. and i'm pretty sure Mann Co. and Spy Tech are rivals.
In my honest personal opinion, to me that would be construed as a stab only if you were looking for a specific event like that
How are you this dense? He is directly intervening with the resurrection property of the life extending machine by ending Redmon's life permanently. And then does the same for Blutarch. How is this hard to comprehend?
