who the fuck listened to me and what happened
Ned used your idea for the V7 thread name.
and kegan says listening to me is bad
wow fuck you kegan
It's not that bad a title, though I do agree the bar joke one was much better.
There's literally nothing that Valve could do in a sequel to TF2 which they couldn't address through patches and updates.
As I've said before, both mean the exact same thing.
As I've said before, both mean the exact same thing.
Updates add content, patches change content. Still sort of the same thing though.
Updates add content, patches change content. Still sort of the same thing though.
Was there ever an update that never added one thing?
Updates add content, patches change content. Still sort of the same thing though.
"Update" can be used to describe adding content or updating content. I always thought it was just preference, there's really no difference between the two.

But regardless, it depends on your own definition.
Based on the amount of new voice lines, do you guys think there will be a new voice command menu to go along with it?
There will be no more voice command menus.
All those voice lines are played automatically by the game, based on different actions. An example would be at the beginning of the round. The voice lines "ready01" etc. will play
Updates add content, patches change content. Still sort of the same thing though.
I'd like to think the difference between patches and updates are that patches are similar to patches you would find on, say Mr. Patch from BT, in that they are their to fix the holes in the game, while updates just takes the game to the next step.

An update would be any time the games files are updated. A patch is a subset of update.
I could even go into extremist territory and even say that fixes can be added, but I'm not.

Ok Gabe's Cousin.
I just had a thought.
If Mann Vs Machine is a horde mode, then how will sentries be handled? Surely, the bots have some way of dealing with sentries.
A little crawling sapper with 8 extending legs that hops on your sentries and take control of them
Confirmed: TF2 is getting an anime series.

There's a robot called the Sentry Buster.

I read that as "D-Crap man."
I just realized. What if MvM is the future of the team. Meaning they die and the tobors take over. The Alamo all makes sense now, the TF2 team will eventually die with this fight.

I don't know how you got that idea or where you got it from
I'm pretty dang excited for robots and the like, but I have to say, the possibility of Medic lines sets my heart aflutter. Back when Meet the Medic came out, I emailed Robin Atkin Downes to ask if he had been asked to voice any other lines during his session, but he replied back and said he was unable to talk about it. That right there raised some red flags. But when nothing came out for months and months (and then years), I got sad. So I totally wrote up about 70 unique domination lines for him all by myself (about 5-10 for each class plus some generic ones). Some of them were actually pretty decent, if I do say so myself. I even emailed them to some of the TF team just for kicks and giggles.
I'm really really really hoping that if they had Downes do lines for MvM, they might've had him record at least a few domination lines. Even if they were super generic and bland, I'd welcome them with open arms.
Mind sharing the lines?
While it's not a face, my favorite scene in the comic is this.

The lack of a question mark probably means he said it in a very dull voice, like he had no care in the world.
Haha yeah, reminds me of Saxton Hale on the Manniversary update page.

It's just a dumb joke. That anime is called D.Gray-Man.
rip in piece robin walker
I mean it is a fast forward in time. TF2 will continue on with the events before then.
-snip-
Considering THNK! really doesn't seem like a stab to me and there was no visual cue that he was stabbed.
Say it out loud.
[editline]12th August 2012[/editline]
If you say THNK! out loud it actually does sound like a stabbing noise.
Will Pyro get new voicelines?
Page king again :D
