So, came from a vacation, MVM in 15th. I go on a vacation again in 15th august.
:(
fuck pageking
Gee Ol' Pie, how come your mom lets you have TWO vacations?
But that does suck. Aside from the fact that you're taking a second vacation...
"* You will need a TF gameserver account to accept matchmaking traffic."
so if we want to create a server just for friends, we would have to need that, thats what im saying
I think it's server side, in fact everything that's posted on the hlds mail thingy is related to the servers, like the name says.
Anyone got info if we can play the gamemode with any number of players ranging from 1 to 6, or is it ONLY 6 ? That'd be a bummer.

I think it's 2-6 or something of the sort.
So only 26 bots at a time, huh?
A 1:4.33 ratio of humans to bots seems like a reasonable number. The standard numbers for server size are 24 slot, and then jumps to 32 slots. There are servers in-between, but they are more rare.
This noted, I'm wondering how things can be tweaked in order to ease the difficulty around. Smaller teams, bigger teams, more players (in total), less players (in total). I could imagine there being several different missions based on community desires (highlander, ultiduo, class-rush, and so on).
I'm headed to Valve today, got my questions thread here:http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1205237
Gotta ask about their direction with TF2 after this.
So only 26 bots at a time...huh.
26 robots a wave? Sounds more than enough.

You would only do that if you want to do matchmaking, if it's just for friends they can join manually and not have to bother with matchmaking.
I know that it may sound dumb or something, but can some who is good with ripping songs from a youtube video, could someone rip off music from MvM trailer?
[sp]It's not like valve will propably release them anyway[/sp]
Mike Morasky himself confirmed that the songs should be going into TF2. He even said that they should be in the game already (guess the TF team dropped the ball at some point without telling him).
Uh-oh, HL3 alert! HL3 aler-
Out of the question. Valve doesn't do "3". Come on, you guys know this.
Fuck.

L4D2 had numerous zombies with the added fact that they could all be gored
im sure tf2 can handle more than 26 bots
26 robots a wave? Sounds more than enough.
26 bots doesn't limit you to 26 enemies per wave; just to 26 enemies spawned at any given time.

TF2 bots are somewhat more cpu intensive than common.

Fuck.
Now that someone from Valve has acknowledged this, it just doesn't feel right anymore.
Just got emailled that my Archimedes Plush is on it's way, hells yeah.
Back to the update itself, really worried about how big it will be file size wise.

TF2's bots are more complex than L4D's horde AI. I would compare it to the special infected with that regard. It just takes more horsepower to calculate all of that, whereas the horde is more simple by comparison.
Redmond and Blutarch, stitched together
frankmondarch i can see it now the administrator got the medics to bring there respective boss back to life again since someone has to run the company's that doesn't get in legal trouble all the time. but she didn't count on the fact that the medics would work together on a little experiment that involves some reasons to lose a medical license, putting 2 brains in one skull and using parts from there "collection" along with a few robot parts.
I'm thinking he randomly switches what team/teams he is attacking,Has the biggest health bar of any "boss" in the game since he is technically 2 in one and he has the ability to use any weapon/stat in game with his attack's. The map would be some what like MtM looks but more frankinstein looking.
I think it would be really good if the main menu had two things that you could switch between them, a menu for the multiplayer and a menu for the Co-Op.
I truly hope they make/made an extended version of the "robot part" of the trailer music.
My favorite music was the bit of music in the beginning between the start and when the robots arrived. The synth orchestra western music.

Listening to creepy pastas is scary :<
Good thing i have my speculation page which never scares me :D

Without dialogue. (A bit misordered too)
There does seem to be some differences, espeically with the second comic, where the team is all red, and the engie has the gunslinger on the wrong side.

Fast, post scary things!
A mixed together boss of parts of the Mann brothers would be terrifying. Sorta like the final boss of Psychonauts.

Cool, this probably means we'll have MvM on dustbowl and 2fort and such very quickly.

Yes!
Don't know if this has been said before or not, but would it be possible to set up a queue of some sort for MvM servers? Like, when Wave 3 ends, a little message would pop up saying who's playing next? Similar to the message that alerts who will be Saxton Hale next in Hale servers?
