And now, that theory of yours makes sense actually. I completely forgot about the rest of the blueprints in that update, from the way I see it, hopefully we might get a new Sentry Gun to counter these robots, since the new Robot appeared, the Sentry Buster, there might be a new Sentry that has more resistance to explosions (or the Sentry Buster robot) or an update to the Sentry to have more resistance...

I've been hoping engi gets a new pda with 3 new buildings. If not that a handcannon that emits a electric pulse that stuns the robots.

The Spy already got his first PDA-2/Sapper weapon slot.
So it's a must for the Engi to get a new PDA, specially on a week like this.

Wishful thinking, but I'd love if the engy could make a bot of his own that lives until killed and patrols a limited area where it's been built, or just follow the engy.
I haven't read the thread 10 pages back so I might be late on the draw,
but are the robots wearing hats? I know the reflector heavy has one, but what about the others?

Although I doubt he had to have his arm twisted for that last life extender and the robot designs -- by the end of the Engineer update, we'd seen him gone bonkers on Australium. Plus, he didn't really care to begin with.
As for the engineer bots, they'd probably change the flow of the game completely. The robots'd go from a mindless charging hoard into a team in their own right. Unless they're gunslinger-only, yeah.

It looks like at least most if not all of the special robots have a hat + 1 giant one, it may be randomised for the giants.

They added all of those sound file references to the manifest of almost every map for a reason.
The way that the MvM mode is set up, it seems that it could work pretty seamlessly for attack/defense-oriented maps such as dustbowl, gorge, badwater, and others.
