Gonna guess it's a tower defense style game where waves of robots spawn and try to capture a point.
Then maybe, sporadically, a huge boss robot comes out and then there's a tank too for some reason.

I'm only assuming there are alerts when specific classes go down because there are 9 "class down" alert soundfiles for each class.
