Achievements are some sort of bounty.
I like it when a game takes something (in this case, weapons and such) we use commonly and take for granted in the main mode (Normal multiplayer), and then make it feel excellent to have in the other (Super Duper Robo-Murder 2k12).

Why? Maybe with perks like self-damage reduction and increased radius but less damage, this might be useful in this mode.
