Just incase anybody else wants to see this look at the monitors at 9 seconds in.
be weird to have a "Valve movie" since their franchises are in all different universes (except for two of them), unless they do some bizarre plot where TF2, CS and L4D people are some how brought into the HL universe using portals or something
My parents chose a bad day to get married...
It's their 25th anniversary and now I've gotta go to New York with them all day.
I'm leaving my Steam open as a welcoming gesture for any game updates *winkity wink*
Isn't it just this?

no. valve is making a different thing. they should announce it soon. i think that's why they hired ashly burch.
It may be completely unrelated to any of their games. Maybe I should go on another tour this upcoming Tuesday.
I wonder what will work best.
Setting my download region to somewhere almost never sollicited (Africa) or to the nearest server? (Marseille, 130 kilometers from here)
HL3 Will be the movie! :V

I'm doing Turkey, but only because I am hungry for the bird.

i'm from Turkey and there's no turkeys here. go choose somewhere else :|
I imagine the Sleeping Dogs weps will start dropping tonight, however, the game isn't out in all regions yet, so it's hard to tell
We still dont have our self-mades. :(
Some kind of TF2 movie would be cool.
Basically work through TF2's story in a movie. Start off with Mann Sons being born and end with the last robot being taken down. In the middle show how the gravel wars played out, show Meet the Medic from a different angle (since it's an origin story for TF2).
I have this thought that every map in TF2 has a specific "time" in which it takes place. So like Badwater would be really early, because Meet the Medic is basically showing that, while Mannworks would be almost last. Probably different "campaigns" as the teams fight over different lands until the brothers get bored and move to a new region.

I do believe it would work better as HBO tv series.
Tf2 movie?
YES PLEASE

Step 1: Add Phil Colson
I think besides MvM, Doomsday feels like a really hectic game mode. Like the Announcer screams at you to get a radioactive substance to a rocket ship, and everybody starts running around like craze gunmans, at least the way I picture it.
I think a wacky twilight zone style anthology would be great to bring together all these universes together.
I really like the cigar on soldier, if its a misc i will definitely sell my pipe for it

Someone out there better not make a live-action movie of it, that's for sure.

Don't give Michael Bay ideas.
Also, is it possible this is part of their Adult Swim project? Either a short series of TF2 shorts on Adult Swim, or a TF2 movie funded by them

That's a given.

I know TF lore is always changing but there's one thing that confuses me. How would TFC fit into the TF2niverse? The timeline's comical while TFC is more serious, TFC has boxes from Black Mesa (reused from HL1), and the only evidence we have of connections to other TF games are the Engi's dad being the TFC Engineer and the Original for the Soldier.
So how would they be able to make a TF movie? My brain's fried over trying to piece together the lore atm.
I also have theories on how the events of Poker Night could fit into TF canon, but they're probably dumb.
I'm pretty sure AS denied that any project would be a TF2 TV thing.
My money's on new IP.

If you get killed by the same robot 3 times, you should quit TF2 :v:
I think the Red-Tape recorder will casue bots to walk backwards. Either that or it'll be totally useless.
Frontier Justice is going to be suppppeeeerrrr OP if each bot killed is considered for revenge crits

I personally think they'd do far better as individual universes. Anything outside of TF2 seems too serious or undeveloped enough to be made into a series in my opinion, anyway. TF2's characters are pretty much perfect for a series.
I'm a bid sad I won't be able to highfive during MvM, but at least that gives the action slot more purpose

Depending on how hard the robots will be, I may end up not equipping the canteen at all.
3 times 5 seconds of buff? BABIES!

Same deal with the Diamondback, if killing bots under the influence of a sapper counts for a free crit.
There is potential for some hilarity here.
