Ok, before I go to sleep. GIANT FUCKING IMAGE - Spytech goes bankrupt thanks to Mann Co. taking over the market. - Gray, Spytech's supposed owner, checks the files of the sales in order to see who are directed to those sales of Mann Co. (it is SPYtech after all, spying and all that shit...) , turns out to be the Administrator, who gives the weapons to the mercenaries in order to blow each other up, mercenaries "owned" by Redmond and Blutarch. - Gray sends the truce letter in order for them to stop fighting so that Gray can associate with them in order to get their fortune. - Gray's plans change as he notes of the Pregnancy plan on a man, and proceeds to kill them. ???
The fact still is, Spytech is a subsidiary of Mann Co. It's unlikely that Gray Mann ran it without anyone noticing.
The fact still is, Spytech is a subsidiary of Mann Co. It's unlikely that Gray Mann ran it without anyone noticing.
That where his Spy-like attitude comes in: Sneaky, two faced and backstabber. That way he might have gotten away with it. Pageking Fuck sleeping.
When TF2 was released it was set in 1968. This was in 2007. It's 2012 now, so shouldn't it be 1973 in the TF2niverse?

It's just a general rule of thumb. [editline]13th August 2012[/editline]
Actually, spytech is OWNED by mann co.
Please don't talk about being us being dumb.
I was wondering why his name subconsciously bothered me every time I saw it this past week or so and it finally clicked... Backstory: There is a year long super thread in the TF2 forum in SPUF about a serious, random black screen of death with sound crash that only occurs on DX10 Nvidia cards (8 series - 2xx series) . The only solution to prevent the crash is to play in dx8. Just last month, we finally finally get both an official Nvidia representative and a Valve representative acknowledge the problem and say that they are working on it (Nvidia rep has set up a good portion of test bed computers to reproduce the crash). Everyone was submitting crash reports and detailed comments to help the Nvidia rep fig out the cause of the crash when suddenly: He wasn't banned when I first read his post then, but someone who writes something that irrelevant and dumb not pertaining to the serious crash thread at hand? It's like he held the ban hammer himself and did himself in...
Maybe Gray founded Spytech, and later Mann Co. bought it?
Naw, time never passes in games/cartoons. It's just a general rule of thumb.
Except it's 1972 in the comics, so TF2 must be following a fairly consistent timeline.
I always thought of spytech being.. Spytech.

And by get it together I mean refrain from making stupid posts for a while if possible.
Except it's 1972 in the comics, so TF2 must be following a fairly consistent timeline.
Yeah, but that's "Some time in the future". It's very possible that it's still 1968 in the game.
Christ, that stupidity. Get it together ojcoolj1. And by get it together I mean refrain from making stupid posts for a while if possible.
Can we just call stupid people "ojcoolj1" until he gets his shit figured out?
Except it's 1972 in the comics, so TF2 must be following a fairly consistent timeline.
It clearly says that it's in the future. Also, just a note. When people get lazy, they round years to the nearest multiple of 10 (or 5 if the number is small enough). So there's no definite proof that it's actually 1972 when the Blood Brothers comic takes place. They could just be lazily guessing that it's about 150 years...they're old, do you expect them to remember how old they are when the days, weeks, months, and years seem to blend together when they can't even remember who Gray Mann is immediately after he introduced himself?
When TF2 was released it was set in 1968. This was in 2007. It's 2012 now, so shouldn't it be 1973 in the TF2niverse?
One week in TF2 = 5 Months in Real time See: The War comic takes place the same time as Meet the Spy
Can we just call stupid people "ojcoolj1" until he gets his shit figured out?
But there's so many stupid people. The only difference is that he's fairly consistent. To be honest, it's not that he always says "stupid" things, it's just that he has no situational awareness, i.e. talking about theories that everyone else already stopped talking about, bringing up a point nobody cares to discuss. At least he's trying. I'm not trying to sound like a faggot but it's wrong to condemn someone for what they have done in the past. If he makes a point which is informative or insightful, don't rate him dumb just because previously you may not have agreed with him. That goes for anyone, not just ojcoolj1.
I think we are giving okcoolj1 far too much attention. Keep the boxes coming, I want to build a fort out of the worst of who post in this thread.
I do have one thing bothering me... Why did the Mann brothers picked to have the alamo be nearby Mann co? What are the Tank/Carriers doing other than monitoring? Will the engineer get a new PDA to deal with the attack of the Tobors Will the engineer get shafted anyway due to hes the hardest class to give stuff to without breaking his purpose Will it be revealed that the Announcer long since knew about Grey and have been preparing for him for the longest along with Hale? (the stolen Australium)
okcoolj1 confirmed as pyro in TF2
*trollface*
Keep the boxes coming, I want to build a fort out of the worst of who post in this thread.
Planning to clone yourself I see.
*trollface*
oh dear god that was the worst possible response you could've made to all of this
http://lab.xpaw.ru/tf2arg-part2/index.html Lol we taunted over 9000 times but got the same message wtf?! where did we go so wrong?
if I had a bunch of boxes, i'd make a fort sign would say "no girls aloud unles u know what an ARG is u dumb bimbo"
*trollface*
I want to send all my boxes to you as if they were Whammies in Press Your Luck. Anyway, I wonder what, if any, kind of weapons Engie would get to specifically deal with robots. Would there now be weapons specifically made for this mode?
I think we are giving okcoolj1 far too much attention. Keep the boxes coming, I want to build a fort out of me.
Woah dude, no one wants to know about your crazy-ass fetishes. We are civillized here.

I just read the new comic. A blog update? ON A SUNDAY? WHAT I wonder what this means for the story of TF2...Blu and Red don't have anyone to sign their paychecks anymore, or Gray might just pay both of them to attack Mann co.
I love the hype and excitement that comes with the discovery of things to come in TF2, but man do I hate the shitposters that follow in its wake
