The third day just seems to be very unlikely for me to mean "community stuff". It sounds more like rewards and achievements.

I'll be honest and say that i am hoping that i get more items in (of course who doesnt) but i can stand to be slightly disappointed compared to those out there like populous who had to wait major update after major update before he got his items in. I personally want to see sexy's war pig. Hope theres something for the contributors today.

I just got an update.

For Garry's mod, apparently I missed the last two patches.

I'm betting we'll get a few upgrade selections depending on weapon type instead of on the weapon. For example all rocket launchers would share the same upgrades and all pistols would share their upgrades while all shotguns and all melee weapons etc would do the same.
Mad milk would probably have the same upgrades as jarate.

currently there's no money angle at all for this update. Weapons and hats bring in the dough so they can keep doing these updates, so they'll have to include something

My bet's on MvM weapons, hats, and achievements.

It's also on that we have to unlock achievements to get the hats and most of the weapons come by killing bosses and such.

ah good point. But what about them credit thingies? Is it plausible that its wholly based on bots killed during the match? i guess they can also sell that and its still not really pay to win in the full sense.

I don't think they'll sell real money MvM upgrades. Maybe canteens, but honestly a three time use, one round limited item isn't going to sell well enough to justify three years of work.

iv'e just got this inkling they've been harvesting items over the period. afterall this is a "BIG" update.

Well considering they spent an entire day explaining one sub-system of the game mode, I expect they'll spend day 3 doing the same + another map. There will be no new weapons or hats in this update. The money angle is that the co-op opens up the game to a whole new potential audience to buy stuff from the store.
