Does anyone know if the update will break custom HUDs? I assume so, but I don't know if a simple re-write will work since there are probably new things being added for the mode.

Yes, especially with the new upgrade menu for MvM. I would suggest you get used to using the default HUD.

The MvM HUD is completely different so I doubt custom HUDs will work with it. Dunno about other modes and stuff.

Just launch the game with your custom hud, if stuff breaks, just remove the hud, not hard.
