A problem with not doing Day updates is that it doesn't hype people up as much, which means less players on update day, and its harder to show all the stuff in the update in just one day.

That's always something that has always stuck with me. The engineer was contracted to build the sentry for tf industries before the events of TF2, so someone higher up has to know of his heritage, or even have some plans for him later on.

Has anyone noticed that comics that feature the Blue team (Loose Canon, Smissmas Story, Blood Brothers) are all drawn by the same person, and the Red team comics are drawn by 1 or 2 people with a different art style?

Or perhaps they want to keep him out of the limelight. Tucked away on some little battlefield where something terribly unfortunate might happen to him or he's simply kept to busy to really consider the situation or the fact that his great great grandpappy made a not dyin' machine.

Imagine if they released a short (kinda like the Mac update) that shows the two teams fighting when suddenly a robot shows up and decapitates a red mercenary and then shoots a laser at a blu mercenary and disintegrates him. The announcer appears on the klaxon and tells them to attack the robots.
Someone go on SFM and make this a reality.

I saw someone get a Dappers in a drop yesterday. My words to him were "Wow, nice drop! ... maybe?" and basically everyone else said the same thing.
Such a weird hat to be in TF2. Oh well, it's not going away any time soon, so I've just gotten used to it. You don't really see it as often as you used to either.

the popular belief by arm chair Internet psychologists is that it's a meme that can never be brought into the real world due to its crudeness and IP useage. It developed as sort of an anti-establishment meme and a safe harbor joke that can't be ruined by leaving the Internet.
It's too crude to be mainstream (no, "Dolan pls" shirts being produced), but popular enough and useable that it can be known only on the Internet.

I think in the sense of gameplay, that BLU will be replaces by the bots. I think between the Tanks being blue, RED being the main team represented in most media, and that these robots are set up to be a true tf2 'villain', that when Raid mode comes out you start a raid lobby, choose your class, and start the game. Everyone in the lobby are set to RED, and all the tobors are cpu's. I think that would also explain those old bot behavior updates that not many people thought much of.
