I'm thinking ingame currency can be used to buy new items exclusively from MVM
like, Warehouse credits.
You get kills, and you can buy new swag from a MannCo warehouse. Can't buy keys, or paints, but new MVM weapons and hats.
So we'll be getting a co-op mode that's a glorious blending of TF2 with Killing Floor game mechanics.
