People take oversexualization too seriously.
When you do that, you end up with female characters that look like DUDES.
I wouldnt say it was over sexualized, looks more like the degree of pinup the army would use like on there plane or propagandar ect. Oversexualized would be where it is just tits or a tshirt likes basically just enough to cover the nipple ect
Also I think the shorts are a better idea on a female scout. Makes more seance to me that she would ware them over a skirt for obvious reason.

Well, I can't really say Chemical Alia's Medic looks like a dude. The Heavy does, sure, but for obvious reasons (she is carrying a minigun after all, plus there is the stereotype of the Russian woman).
Like BaronVonFail says, I didn't really like AyesDyef's female Scout partly because of the skirt. Who would wear a skirt in a war, seriously?
Also, I don't like oversexualised models, I like trying to fit the style as best I can, and I can't help it if I want the female versions to at least look somewhat attractive.

Who brings a baseball bat and throws piss in a war? :P
The skirt was more or less based on the fact that in old time sports, women wore skirts because they were easier to run in, and well, women in pants were bad for sexist reasons or some crap, Scout is a class based in speed, so the skirt makes sense for that era.
That said, Don't worry chaps, I've got other things planned, so I can just put scout at the bottom of my list for now.

When I said about the shorts being a better choice over the skirt I was talking more about practicality not war, allot of things don't make seance in team fortress that's what great about the game plus there mercs I don't really class the game as a war based one.
And going back to what AyesDyef said about the sports player of the time the old female baseball players would still ware the under shorts under there skirts as not to embarrassed them self or look indecent to the crowd. Look at Dorothy Kamenshek you'll see what I mean.
