PM him about it, this thread tends to go fast. If you absolutely cannot wait, you can do it yourself. It's just a quick Notepad copypaste job in hudlayout.res > "HudDeathNotice" from the one in the default .gcf or any of his previous versions.

I personally love it. It was the biggest single reason I stuck with m0rehud for so long. Yet I agree there should be options for everyone.
