Try deleting ClientRegistry.blob from your Steam folder, that helped me. Of course remember to close Steam first.

Deleting blob didn't work. Now i get a steamtmp.exe error.

Are you being serious? Because I don't remember an file called steamtmp.exe.
You know, as I'm watching TAS videos...
...This is probably going to sound weird as hell, but what if someone were to [b]somehow[/b], by some sort of very odd sorcery, do a single-player TAS on an official MvM mission (let alone a six-player TAS)? Now I'd imagine that would probably be only be possible in like more than 20 years, due to it being an online game, but still, just the thought having one man completely obliterate a horde of bots with a damn lot of luck manipulation...

All the save states required so he randomly crits every shot, that would be amazing to see though.

Something tells me that the most optimal class and loadout for such a thing would be as a Demoman with Grenade Launcher, Stickybomb Launcher, and Half-Zatoichi...
The first two for having massive amount of crits (with luck manipulation), and the Zatoichi for immediate health restoring [b]and[/b] for the range (at least, I [b]think[/b] it has more range).

Well, I think you already tried this, but delete (or backup if you have many mods installed) Your Team Fortress 2 folder.
Plan C will be check the integrity of the files just in case, it will probably get stuck at 100% but just give it time.
If that doesn't work, try deleting everything, except Steam.exe and your steamapps folder on your steam folder.
I did all that and finally made TF2 work. In my case, the game closed as soon it opened without any error in the background.

I feel sad for Valve sometimes, they created one of the most awesome games in the world and they are just trashing it with stuff. Making it an unstable game.
Team Fortress 2 was my new hope for modern games. I think I have played it more than I played any old game of my childhood. The death of TF2 will be the death of a big part of my life.

So I was just poked by some mod on Gamebanana, apparently if I put ingame screenshots my HUD will be un-withheld.
...Why do I need ingame screenshots? It's just replacing the image, and there are plenty of other HUDs submitted that don't have ingame screenshots.

Gameboner is picky now since most skins that were put up were viruses back in "the day" (there was never a the day back then.)
I'm not on my computer, so I wont be able to get screenshots.

Gamebanana is a strange place, put a creeper texture over a holy mackarel model and you get the mod of the day, make a unique hud and people bitch
