I actually recently sold my items for paypal so I could buy a computer (which I'm getting on friday) and with the market I wouldn't have been able to do that. I'd only be able to buy more games. In my opinion though the overall trading economy outside of the market is not affected heavily because the wallet is the one thing really cripples your ability to do much else besides buy more games. Put money into valve, to buy items from TF2, which were purchased from the store, only to give a small percentage to valve, while having more money to buy more things strictly on steam to give money to Valve. It's a good concept but I prefer having more freedom with my money than limiting it to items and games.[/QUOTE]
