Just tried using the Open Broadcaster Software that Reag presented. It actually records [b]damn[/b] smoothly (just as long as you don't set it to [i]Record Monitor[/i] and make it record a window, instead). In fact, it records so smoothly that I was hoping that I could use this as a replacement for Fraps. I was disappointed when I found out that the video files immediately corrupt when I try to record Team Fortress 2... [b]Edit:[/b] Tried again at 1280 x 720. Recording is very stuttery. Well, I suppose it would do fine for broadcasting, but it streamed/recorded so beautifully that I thought it'd be usable as a recording program as well... ;-;
