After seeing some fake adult swim bumpers using the meet the videos, I keep wanting to talk to people about a TF2 TV show. Not just talk, actual brainstorming, y'know. Plots, arcs, that kind of stuff.

I wish at least one good trading website was still up.

But you don't see the TF2 voice actors doing much else in the business, do you?

since scrap.tf started taking hat, ticket and key banking there is really no need to bother with another site to get stuff you like quite easily.

Nathan does a lot of his own stuff, and is always busy with all that (reason he had no MVM lines, they were lucky to have him for halloween). Gary says outright age has caught the better of his voice, and Heavy and Demo sound slighty off as a consequence (not that many of us care, we still love it <3) Robin Atkin Downes is usually busy as hell, he's a big lister in terms of voice work. Though they DID manage to get him for the couple previous events, which is really nice. The others, i see little issue. Maybe i'm missing a few things, these are just off the top of my head.

The way the recording of lines for a TV show works is very different from how a game works. And again, soundalikes are very common: there are cases of voice actors being replaced and people not even noticing. One of the biggest movie examples would be Jim Cummings having replaced Jeremy Irons for a few parts of the Be Prepared song in the Lion King- and no one notices that. Disney has a thing with doing that too, considering many of their movie characters appear in TV shows with different voice actors, but with the same voice. We should make a thread for discussion based on the TV show, you know? Brainstorm the characters, the plots, the seasons, the way the show would interact with the game...
