I want to start making maps again but Im pretty much out of ideas. I did see a cool map where everything was textured like Donkey Kong and the spectator camera was set off to the side to make it look like the arcade game. Id like to do something like that, just another gimmick map.

I used to be full of idea's all the damn time for mapping. One time I wanted to make a horror map, turned into this. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JG3lVQUeEA[/media] Portal 2 SDK came out and I decided to make some quick maps. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX2ZR-oqOdA&list=UUdL0vfGUJymO11X7N0r7pwg&index=80[/media] I loved the Portal 2 SDK but then I ran out of ideas. I stopped mapping for like a year then I started back up and made this map. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akNnIpTFcpQ&list=UUdL0vfGUJymO11X7N0r7pwg&index=50[/media] You need a lot of motivation to map, that's for sure.
