According to what I have heard them say, the more common Botkillers are cheaper, while the rarer ones are more expensive.

So, the Silver, Carbonado and Rust botkillers are 595c, while the Gold, Diamond and Blood botkillers are about 40000-100000c.

As long as you don't open Tf2 on the account you have the crates on, they'll be there forever.
