you'd be surprised how hard it is to find a video or gif or something of major chip hazard punching through his packaging
You didn't look hard enough.
Can someone make that fireproof diary replace pyros little ammo pouch?
Can someone make that fireproof diary replace pyros little ammo pouch?
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=14886 dunno if it ever got a mod release
This is completely unrelated to anything else going on and it's probably been done before, but has anyone ever entertained the idea of making a Punt Gun for the heavy?
Redoing the wooly warmer, and I cannot think of a style to replace the plaid. :/

I've always felt like such an asshole for losing my friend's copy I borrowed as a kid :(
I just delete the comments as soon as I see them. Most people aren't that stupid to fall for the scam anyway.
Glad that worked. What is or will be holding the mini clip holder to the gun?
I'm spending too much time on this :(
Would a barcode on the back, as usaokay said, and a QR code leading to the Emporium be a bit too much? :v:
I hate working with alphas.
I tried to fight the phishing links on the workshop by deleting them as they were posted on my items' pages, but after getting on the front page and the sheer volume of the links being posted I just gave up. It's pretty damn annoying to constantly get notifications on Steam of new comments only to find that it's about 80 comments of phishing links every couple of hours. Holy crap just as I posted that I checked the workshop and it looks like the links got removed. I guess Valve actually did something about it.
Changed the anvil a bit since I was told valve doesnt like things bolted to the characters' heads. I still have yet to uv it, but is anyone interested in texturing it? Would rather it be someone with good experience.

How's it going with the bigass chainsaw for Pyro?
I like the idea of the Sniper visiting all these different cultures around the world and shit, assassinating people. He already has the desert/arabia esques stuff, I think something kinda jugly with Aztec influences would be pretty cool. Big obsidian knife, anyone?
I think It would look much better if the anvil would melt down to engineer's hard hat.
But how often do you see melted anvils?
But how often do you see melted anvils?
I've never seen any, but that's why I would to see it.
How's it going with the bigass chainsaw for Pyro?
I'll start to improve it next week probably. Didn't had time to do anything cause I got a job!
Anyone know if this is any different from the existing itemtest?

Big obsidian knife, anyone?
Surprising you should say that - originally, I had made the Gutsy Gurkha (working title, cooler name suggestions welcome) for the Soldier. Everyone told me that it'd fit the Sniper better because of his Kukri (Gurkha weapon of choice - having met one of them, they told me that for them it works like the half-zatoichi, you can't sheath it unless it's drawn blood), which is why it went to the sniper. That and the surprisingly long relationship the Commonwealth armies have had with this particular regiment made it a fitting choice, culture wise as well.
Anyone know if this is any different from the existing itemtest?
Basically, it lets you select the class to compile for, it also comes with the tf2 character meshes as reference and automatically exports models(with lods auto generated (crap!)), texture and sends it to itemtest through some console commands to compile, so its an itemtest compiler, it does it job well, but its still itemtest, one bone (bip_head). At least it packs to itemtest directly, but you could do that easly with any 3D app with a simple script, these are the arguments 3D Coat sends to itemtest.com to compile a model.
D:\Steam\steamapps\common\3d-coat>SET SOURCESDK=d:\steam\steamapps\steamuser\sourcesdk D:\Steam\steamapps\common\3d-coat>d:\steam\steamapps\steamuser\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\itemtest.com -view -autoskin -batch -name "test" -class demo -lod "C:\Users\User\Documents\3D-CoatV3\Temp\forsteam.obj" -lod "C:\Users\User\Documents\3D-CoatV3\Temp\forsteam_LOD1.obj" -mat "icosahedron1_auv" -mt primary -tex "C:\Users\User\Documents\3D-CoatV3\Temp\forsteam_icosahedron1_auv_color.tga" -textype common -alphatype paintable -tex "C:\Users\User\Documents\3D-CoatV3\Temp\forsteam_icosahedron1_auv_nmap.tga" -textype normal -alphatype spec
This probably isn't the new tf2 compiler that has been talked about.
I'm curious - has there ever been an item compiled purely in itemtest and been accepted into the game? EDIT: 2spooky pageking
The Degroot Experience is a possible candidate.
TDE existed way before itemtest.
Requesting a mod that combines the styles of the Foppish Physician and Distinguished Rogue, so I can have both the tie and the epaulettes at the same time.
Repost
Since Halloween submissions are over, Here's one I quickly whipped up in illustrator for xmas: Bit of a backstory, despite us Aussies having summer during Valve's winter, DURING OUR WINTER, a common worn outfit is Ugg Boots (Sheepskin Boots) and are a popular thing both urban and outback. So I got the idea for them for the sniper, and have them rigged similar to Teufort Tooth-Kickers. With the pom pom I think the best example around the top would be similar to the collar used for the Kringle Collection to match it a bit like this: So yeah, Unfortunately I 100% suck at rendering/3D modeling and wondering if anyone wants to take a crack at it?
