i dont think we need more track jackets
It's not a track jacket, though. Too thick.
Seems more like a play on words with the word "track", as it has different meanings depending on context. In the context of the Sniper's profession, the meaning of the word is implied to be that as "To be in alignment."
but we only have one track jacket? We're not really swamped in track jackets, or even regular jackets.

well you got one :eng101:

rework the medic animations too?
mostly the medigun, i feel he holds it too close to his body and it looks unnatural.
maybe while he isn't healing, he holds up the medigun as if it is a minigun that is not spun up?

Make Stupid Sexy Sniper instead.
Way to early for Christmas stuff but what the hell. Need some help deciding which style is better. On the first the coat is closed only exposing the neck of the jumper and keeping the trench coat appearance. On the second the coat is open exposing the jumper. The whites parts will be fluffy looking.

or neither. :v:

Why not both?
I think it looks great either way!

I assume you'd make the brim red/blue?
Also I suggest making one of those santa belts as a part of the items
Not mine, but perhaps some INSPIRATIONS

Didn't really think of it that way. I guess two styles could work.

I haven't decided what to do with the colours yet. I didn't really want to do a Santa like belt to try not to make it look too out of place. Medics belt is black anyway so I could just remove the fluffy overlay if it's preferred.

I imagine this year we're gonna see a lot of Kringle Collection styled coats in the workshop
On that note I still want Spark's Ursa Major for Heavy to get in, that thing looks oh so sexy

It always seem that, whenever a person asks for the community to choose between models, they never think about making them styles.

If you're bored, you oughta try your hand at one of those launchers. They look really cool.
Yay, I finished it

Personally I've only got a few issues with these; The Manmelter's draw animation looks too spinny and the shotgun looks as if it's firing from an awkward angle, like the barrel is facing one way but the shots are coming out another.
Also, have you changed the crit animation for the melee weapons?
Other than that, these look good.
The Manmelter's draw animation looks too spinny and the shotgun looks as if it's firing from an awkward angle, like the barrel is facing one way but the shots are coming out another.
Well, to be fair, pretty much ALL weapons in the HL2 engine are from an angle over to the right, and the bullets appear to come from directly down the crosshair on a lot of them. Hell, there's like 5 stock weapons that have that issue.
And although I do agree that the spin animation is balls to the walls fast, you have to admit that it's inhumanly impossible to perform the Heavy shotgun taunt or Engie pistol taunt as fast as they do in game in real life.

Also woo, 100th post!
I got my camera pistol working with the default reload animations. Any suggestions/feedback? I'm also looking for a texturer, if anyone's interested.

Been away for a few days. Any of you guys lucky enough to get love notes from Valve on your Halloween creations? :)
yes
It's going to be a very ironic halloween :P
Can anyone help me out with closing this gap?
[IMG_THUMB]http://i47.tinypic.com/2h53784.png[/IMG_THUMB]
Weld and Connect don't work (weld does work on vertexes on the same side tho).
I can just push one vertex inside the other, but not sure how would that affect my unwrap.
Got it solved, thanks. This is what I was making if anyone's curious.
[IMG_THUMB]http://i.imgur.com/vjT4O.png[/IMG_THUMB]
delete the two faces in the gap, and then use target weld.

The draw animation for the melee just looks wierd. Shotgun and manmelter look funny as well. I do like how you made the reserve shooter slide work, but, no shell going into the chamber? :(
