Normals simulate depth by altering the shading on an otherwise flat piece of geometry.

One is not very detailed but uses less clay and costs less to produce. The other is very, very, detailed but could not possibily be mass produced. You can instead take the low detailed version and 'project' or engrave the details from the high one onto the low one to create fake detail.

You could even shell out 60 bucks for [URL="http://www.quixel.se/"]nDo2[/URL], which comes with a 3D previewer in Photoshop itself which is pretty awesome too.
i got the xNormal plugins already, i think crazybump does a better job at it, has more useful sliders and it can convert normals back into heightmaps I use the dilation filter from the xnormal plugins all the time though, very good for reducing mipmap bleeding and such

Idea for a Demoman MVM loot drop. The Botzerker's Belt It's an attachment to the Demoman that has a couple robot heads hanging off. Positioned on the left, right or back of Demoman like the Liquor Locker. Jiggleboned, obviously.

I think this is plausible, but not the addition of even more slots for cosmetic items.

Also, I'd like to request someone make the texture for bloody botkiller weapons not look terrible.
