Like I was saying on the stream, I kind of preferred the concept art with 6 larger buttons.

Oh great, pageking.
Guys, I just had an epiphany, whatever that is
Fire Fighter Medic
Squirt Gun Syringe gun
Fire Hose medigun
fire axe bonesaw
fire extinguisher medipack
firemen's coat
fire person hat
This originated from the bowels of Napy's stream
The medigun is a fire hose though.
but a really real one

I'm ambivalent to this epiphany. On one hand, I've found it practically impossible to design a style-and-setting-appropriate squirt gun, the Medigun is indeed a real fire hose, a fire axe would be really awkward with saw anims, I don't know what a fireman's coat is and the fireman's helmet would be flooded with 'this should be for Pyro' comments. On the other hand, a fire extinguisher-based medipack could be really cool, and the theme in itself is sort of neat.
Also:

Valve missed a giant opportunity when they named the Vintage Merryweather.
You know what?
Who cares?
So what if they say "ooh its just like slender".
You know that it isnt.
And in the end, isnt yourself the only one whos opinion matters?
But really. I would like to see it as a skin.
Maybe with some movement.
Like the tendrils item in fusion fall where they go up and down.
but that's all they say
ever

A fireman's coat is the coat that firemen wear. And the axe could use the Saxxy animations.
And really, this was more of a joke then anything. I wasn't really that serious with the Squirt Gun, and I kinda just thought this up while we were dicking around in Napy's stream.
Though, the medigun/pack of this set could be based from fire hydrants. And the fireman's coat could also have boots.
God, sometimes it feels like I'm writing a more grammatically correct version of Huck Finn.
And the axe could use the Saxxy animations
That'd look awful.
Funnily enough, I've been designing a concept centered around a fireman medic:

I love you.
And Medic wielding an axe using the Saxxy animations actually looks pretty good. I'd post a screenschot of it, but I don't know how to screenshot or how to share a .tga file.

Revolver version of the Flare Gun
If you are going to make it a cosmetic item, what material are you going to make it in? I sort of imagine this as a plushie or something, but the arms and legs are a bit thin for that. Perhaps it could be a small plastic toy?
Why does it have to be a cosmetic? It would make a neat little map prop for a beach theme...
Remember the Swamp Pack? That, but with beaches and other waterfront/tropical objects.

The helmet should be a German firefighter's helmet.
The helmet should be a German firefighter's helmet.
So replace it with the same model?
So replace it with the same model?
I was thinking a more Imperial Germany firefighter helmet.

Nice! But let me give you a tip: get Gimp or something like that; its a free alternative to paint and allows you to make way nicer and more detailed concepts.

Revolver version of the Flare Gun
The proportions of the revolver drum in relation to the barrel makes no sense
The proportions of the revolver drum in relation to the barrel makes no sense
It's a stylized Flare Gun. The ammo that gets loaded into the gun is the same circumference as the barrel, the drum is just for aesthetics.

That's good, but instead of the helmet having an emblem, the bands on his arms should have them since they cover his original symbol, and the helmet should just have some German emblem emblem. It could look something like this:

Or both could have the emblem.

If Valve gives medic a set like this that will inevitably have anti-pyro stats, they damn well better give Pyro some damn overpowered new weapons :v:

Or why not have that helmet instead? Re-skinned brigade helm just seems lazy.
It wouldn't be able to look like a German fire helmet with the brigade helm model anyway.

I kinda wanna do this one... I got the idea of a fireman medic out of nowhere and posted it in Napy's stream. And this is perfect.

It really isn't open for grabs just yet, i plan on seeing if quinn wants to do it before i make it open for everyone else.

Soldier concept! A completely decorated officer. Contains two miscs, the monocle, and the suit along with epualettes. Also includes the hat. I'm trying to figure out what his weapons would be, so I may post weapon concepts later.

If you want to, you can model it, I'd love to see this thing modelled.
yay
