I'd love to
Then it's all yours
unless someone else wants to
Wouldn't contributors know by now if their items have been selected??
BTW the news paper has a "Familiar for sale" so I bet some lucky SOB got their follow buddy chosen. :)
The Familiar for Sale was the soldier.
Square, I like your concepts a lot, they're very neat and usually good ideas. keep up the good work :D

depends, I kinda want to but I'm p sure you'd do a better job with it.
Wouldn't contributors know by now if their items have been selected??
nope
don't doubt your skills
i hope i get something in-game
i can't ride on the success of a parka hood from over 10 months ago forever
The Familiar for Sale was the soldier.
lol that makes sense now that I look at ti again. I need to read things all the way through before I post. :)
everyone in here that makes things deserves to get something ingame, there doesn't seem to be any bad contributors in the emporium, everyone's always making good shit

disagreeing to that not being enough money, not to you getting something else in game

All you need is one item that everyone wants. Gerre still makes most of his money from the procedure mask which is like two years old already.
nope
Oh god. I didn't need to know that. I could have been blissfully unaware and been cool about it.
Still I'm not confident about my chances. Only had one item and not sure it fits the bill. I'm still pretty new to the workshop and haven't quite found that TF2 groove yet.

but drill hat is awesome why is nobody buying drill hats
but drill hat is awesome why is nobody buying drill hats
traders drove the drills reputation down the drain. I personally think its one of the more fitting hats for the class.
I would have thought the Killer Exclusive.
...although a Genuine can be had for a dollar still
traders drove the drills reputation down the drain. I personally think its one of the more fitting hats for the class.
why?
hate this game sometimes.
why?

Honestly i have no idea why they hate it. Ever since i can remember trading, its been a hat that people don't prefer. They always say its a "bad hat" but model-wise i thought it was fine. Then when people don't want them, the demand is not there for the hat to be tradeable then it became a nasty domino effect that created a bad rep for the hat. Totally undeserved you ask me.
why?

The trading scene sometimes feels detrimental to the game IMHO.
disagreeing to that not being enough money, not to you getting something else in game
it's not the money, it's the feeling of recognition
i don't necessarily have a fanbase like napy or svdl
even all my favorite workshop items just get comments that praise the person that uploaded them, i don't even get a pat on the head for conceptually designing and texturing my stuff
i can cite the coupe and the dixie on this too. The coupe is surprisingly balanced at its shape and appearance if you ignore fact that it resembles to certain hair style. The dixie's details are really nice too if you look at how the flowers on that were modeled.

Sadly, such praise are seldom given to textures. To the untrained eye, the shapes and items models are almost always the first thing that catches the attention. That's a very hard trend to break.

The life of the average TF2 contributor is about 2-4 years or heartache, panic, desperation, depression and disappointment. Then, they either give up, or succeed, the later bring feelings of elation and pride.
The only way to succeed, is to keep going. It's all worth it in the end. It might be a good idea to work on a 'plan B' though...
harakiwi needs more stuff ingame
also cuntsman has some self-made worthy stuff
I have to be honest though, as for the Halloween update Napy and the others deserve their stuff to be ingame: their items were very popular in the Workshop after all.
I deserve more things ingame and also a big bag of money
Final Concept

shitty overalls that will be impossible to rig
also made the hood larger and made a duct tape sleeve style

probably not work the extra stylethough

just as I post my own hoodie yesterday :1
guess I'll scrap it for now
what do I have to do to get rights to that concept

I suppose it would also help if Valve didn't repeatedly go to the same people. I feel like that's adding insult to injury for a lot of very competent creators.
what do I have to do to get rights to that concept
i dunno about you but I see a scrap of paper in my disc drive that says "scout righs :: toddler crime, 1982"
