You bitch constantly about items being unfitting so when Valve takes measures to deal with this you get upset, as if you'd much rather they weren't implemented in the first place. You whine about people being unable to appreciate you're items and then, when those same people take a genuine interest in your work you write them off as selfish and entitled.
How about - and I know this will sound crazy, but - how about we stop trying to blame Valve, stop spamming their emails and stop throwing constant conflicting demands at their faces and actually start recognising our own accountability. If you didn't want your item to be restricted perhaps you shouldn't have given it such a heavy Halloween influence. If you're more concerned about it being your design and it looking exactly as you pictured it, then good for you, but don't go around complaining when Valve implements it in a way that doesn't 'break' the art style or even, god forbid, not implement it at all which is, you might be surprised to hear, entirely within their right.
Yes there are certain items I consider to have been restricted unnecessarily but these are the exception rather than the rule, not to mention this is simply my opinion rather than what is actually best for the game in the same way I'd also like pyros to be nerfed but that's just because I play spy.

I can really see where he's coming from. As a normal item, the brain pyro would have been a huge hit financially and used and appreciated by many. It's his art and his creation and right now it will just be cast aside because of valve being silly.
It also seems like its an item spark himself was really really proud of, so this is kind of a jab to that also

Yes - an honest one. Spy is my favourite class and so I would be relatively happy to discover I now have a better chance at countering his greatest undoing. But the fact of the matter is pyro is not OP and so should not be nerfed.
If given the choice between making the game how I'd like it to be and leaving it in the hands of professionals then I would much rather be occasionally disgruntled than to allow the game to fall into a broken state.

They will get $1000 I'm almost certain. Not to mention they received recognition from Valve for their work being accepted. What's more, the new contribs who got their items in are now in Valve's little "circle" and are going to get special treatment and favoritism from here on out. For existing contribs, this is a pad to their wallets and another self made to set by all their others and more to come.

I'm not arguing for the restriction, but I am saying people shouldn't be complaining how they are. These benefits are still outweighing the cons by a lot and the supposed downsides are not as severe as people are saying. As someone mentioned, the crate income will still be a large sum. And while it's disappointing they are restricted for the owners, I'd rather a self made that I can wear two days a month + a nice wallet pad rather than no money and no items.
I wish that at least the plutonidome and the orange balloon werent restricted.
The other stuff, while unfair, does make sense being restricted.(Still dont like that theyre restricted though)

But I guess I found what seems wrong in it: the style of tricorne you used is the one used on the XVIIth century, and not the "tricorne-almost-a-bicorne' that was used during the XVIIIth century. It should be more simillar to a hat like Napoleon Bonaparte or Frederick the Great himself - thiner, but wider, like:

I liked the colours, however I think it would be slightly more fitting if the outline band was lighter, or the hat as a whole a little less saturated.

But, in general, the hat seems slightly offplaced because it's almost not covering the wig sides, and rising too much hight over the head. If it was thinner and its sides encovered the hair, with the sides pointing down, it would be perfect.
