Either verifying my files or putting [url=https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24970273/TF2/engineer_brain_head.vmt]this[/url] into "materials\models\player\items\engineer" fixed that for me. If this isn't fixed properly by the time I wake up I'll create a promo for it and stuff.
(Note this file is just a renamed version of the file Sexy Robot put out in his Halloween items fix pack, so all credit goes to him.)
