There's no space for it to slide back, it would only be able to open like 1/4 of the way. You should really swap it to the other side and make it shorter length-wise.

I cannot go much lower or else his head will start to clip through. I have also made the eyepatch on soldier slightly taller.
The helmet should be over both eyes like it is on Soldier imo, I don't think it would clip, the stunt helmet doesn't clip much

Maybe if it was broken up into a bunch of items? I like how the bandanna over the mouth looks like a scarf on Pyro too. You should make that an actual thing, it could be long and trail behind the pyro like one of those oversized scarves.
