Agree, I like the bowler better than the top hat It's simple but not too simple, and resembles the referenced CAT logo pretty well.

Yeah that is kind of what I was goin for, I didn't want it to really stand out, but just the silencer on its own looked boring.
I reckon make it black again but give it really obvious edge highlighting so it stands out nicely

This is completely unrelated to anything at all that has been said in this thread the recent hours, but I still hope Neo's Madman's Mop gets accepted eventually. I'd enjoy a simple mad scientist hairstyle that isn't halloween restricted and matches Medic's looks well.

Merge the highlights more into the colour of the tape and give it some exaggerated shadowing imo. Observe the medigun:
