Well I wasnt askin how to learn it. It was just a simple pondering. (it didnt work btw.) A note for the future. If I want to know how to do it myself, I would ask "how do you do it". If I dont say that, then im not trying to learn it. Im just asking a question
Well I wasnt askin how to learn it. It was just a simple pondering. (it didnt work btw.)[/QUOTE Edit the .vmt of the mall father. Go to the link that I posted, copy the color you want, and paste it into the color_2 thing.
Well I wasnt askin how to learn it. It was just a simple pondering. (it didnt work btw.)
Just gonna say it, you are really annoying. Try and think a bit more. If you bothered to learn it you wouldn't need to come here all the time asking for extremely simple requests such as this, you could just do it and save everyone time, as well as shitting up the emporium less.
Just gonna say it, you are really annoying.
How am I annoying? I asked if it could be done and got a roundabout answer. (How is that friendly?) If after i asked "is it possible" , someone said "yes it is" it wouldve already been over with.

Wow. I never thought dement was this rude before. He insults me just because I asked a simple question. Seemed uneccesary on his side but whatever. But in any case, the mall father is a nice item.
I might be the only one but I still love the fake update.
Has this been called yet? I really like it
Has this been called yet? I really like it
As far as I know it hasnt been called. A actual "How do I do this" question. How would I use SFM to look at possible loadouts on the characters? Not putting items on for awesome pictures or anything. Just basic t pose characters with hats and miscs on.

Seemed uneccesary on his side but whatever.
Not like it was completely uncalled for, I mean you sit there asking people to do things for you with no interest in putting any effort into it yourself and when people try to help you dismiss them without even saying thanks or sorry. Plus, this:
A note for the future. If I want to know how to do it myself, I would ask "how do you do it". If I dont say that, then im not trying to learn it. I was asking if it was possible for me, you or anyone else to make. Hows it arrogant?
I know it wasn't supposed to, but it did hit a little close to home. I wish I didn't have a learning disability so I could be something other than just an idea/advice guy >.>
Well I wasnt demanding it to be made or anything. I was asking if it was possible for me, you or anyone else to make. Hows it arrogant?
I wasn't saying you did. but it was an easy mistake to make, most people here are interested in learning how to do things, as it is a development thread and not just for showing off and looking at, so it's pretty easy to assume you do too, and in response to that you didn't say anything like, "sorry for your trouble" or "thanks anyway" which you know, would be nice, but not at all required ofc, it's more something you might want to do if you want people to keep being nice and helpful. and the arrogant part was how you said it sort of like you would correct your servants on how to make your afternoon tea.

And I will learn how to model stuff but not right now. right now(earlier today) I simply had a skin mod question which got blown out of proportion by everyone else. At least in this specific instance, I was simply asking a question
Looks meh at the moment but I think a good phong mask and whatnot oughta help
Need some subtle brushstrokes. Take a cue from the Stovepipe Sniper Shako's texturework.
Could only load 1 model at a time
regedit, yo
Could only load 1 model at a time
You can load the rest of your loadout by using the Load/Unload Weapon feature. The Source Filmmaker Modelviewer (unlike the HLMV) allows you to load multiple weapons (or hats, or miscs) to your character.
Well I want to use it to see item combinations with hats I dont have
ye thats how you do it tho
Well I want to use it to see item combinations with hats I dont have
That isn't an issue - the SFM Model Viewer (as does the HLMV) allows you to view all items available in the TF2 universe (sans unusual effects) on your character. Give it a go and see it for yourself :)

You sound arrogant, because you seem never to appreciate other's people helps that haven been given to you.

I havent said thanks because most of the posts after my question are insults.
Has this been called yet? I really like it
No one has claimed it so far. So yeah, you can go right ahead and try your hand at it! (so that the fake 10th class might actually get in-game? my evil plan is working) EDIT: Maty sent me a message and asked if he could do the Guard Dog version, so I'm not sure who came first.

VaultScout: check your PMs! As for the Guarddog, I can wait if you want that one, I'm still thinking of new ideas! [editline]15th November 2012[/editline]
I thought I saw evil working on it?
Naw, that's the reindeer he's working on! Had the idea, VaultScout drew up a concept. Evil_Knevil is modelling it. I hope to have time to do my own version, alas, too little time. Deep in crunch at work and Christmas getting close - presents to buy! Pro-tip: If you want to model TF2 stuff: DON'T be an artist for a games company working on an MMO about to go Beta DON'T get married ;)
