I appreciate the concern, but there's actually no clipping whatsoever. Nailed it on the first try! I guess I had a lot of practice messing with the shells on the Shortstop revolver.

Also, I made this a long time ago (around Dec - Jan, methinks) but plan to re-texture it - it's a Gurkha Hat for the sniper (thought it was fitting because Gurkhas are badass and he's the one with the Kukri). That chin strap is a bit of a problem (taunts, face flexing) so I'll need to remove it, add a buckle and have jiggleboned free hanging straps. It's already UV mapped for the most part so if anyone is interested in texturing this fella, let me know so I can slot in the modifications for the weekend and send it ASAP. :smile:

It's quite clean without the blood actually. I try to use the blood to make it more visually interesting, but somehow to me personally it doesn't "feel" right, especially when I put it near the ubersaw the last time I took a render of it.
Edit: Also, do you think I should switch off the numbers on the watch face so it has more simplicity and just leave the watch hands as is so that it reads correctly at a distance?
Not sure I like the band color, maybe try the same color as his suspenders, or his chest button?

You should first do the basecolours on it before adding the detail.
Most of the detail is overdone and not needed.
The strap doesn't appear to be the medics suspender fully but more orange on the watch.

I think that kind of stuff was too fancy for how the model wich is kinda rough, and not all that elegant

I think it's such a small gun, and it's such a minor detail, modeled on holes is not really that big of a deal, especially since if it has bullets it'd be visually inaccurate when the gun is empty, PLUS you'll have very noticeable bullets, versus it being black where you can just assume you can't see the bullets in the gun because the chamber is too dark.

I quickly did some of the changes before I head off to sleep - I might've made it a bit more....menacing and not quite as funny as I liked. I'll definitely give a go at the other funny variants and put it up when I'm done. That duo tone thing seems to be working out quite well on the watch, too - only need to find a classy enough font that's still readable at a distance.

Well I'm officially handing in my 2 weeks notice for resignation from texturing today.
I will try and finish any projects I still have left to do, it is just that I don't want to take on any more for a while now, there's a lot going on in my head right now and I feel now is the time to start sorting it all out.
I feel that I should actually tell you all instead of just vanishing like Daimao & Royzo, naturally I will still be reading and occasionally posting, just no more texturing from me in a while.
I really preferred it as an actual watch rather than just a face with KILL on it.
