Browsing Tumblr is most times depressing, as it reminds me that I have a cat at home that I miss terribly. On the other hand, it also gives me great images of kitties that would suit TF2 far more than the Pocket Purrer: [sp]You know what to do, go go go.[/sp]

Started working on my biological warfare set again: Anything else need doing on the textures?
Personal request, less green. Especially that green. That green looks like sewage and does not match Pyro's suit well. [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] Unless you intend that thing he's wearing to be a septic tank
-SNIP- not ready
[t]http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/308797gun.png[/t] Done. The name is not the final one.
Name it "Hat"
the front page of the workshop is currently tf2 workshop: stitching edition

[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] Unless you intend that thing he's wearing to be a septic tank
It is, and the green was to emphasize the biological warfare/plague theme of the set, rather than just old military gear, which is the same reason for the diseased lenses. rear shot of the tank.
I like the tank, I absolutely hate the sickly green color of the mask.
I love the color of the mask on its own, but against the Pyro's suit and in the context of the TF2 palette it's really, really out of place.
I like the tank, I absolutely hate the sickly green color of the mask.
I want it to be a plague or disease related colour that isn't brown, so green is kinda the only option. Plus I really like the current mask and hood colour.
I think you should probably drop that thing going down his neck too, at least in my personal opinion it looked better when it was just the mask
I think you should probably drop that thing going down his neck too, at least in my personal opinion it looked better when it was just the mask
That's part of the helmet, and it's a style. If you've got a better mask colour suggestion that's related to plagues and isn't brown i'll try it to see how it looks.
Not sure, but either way, that color just doesn't look good at all
What happened to the pink version of the mask? That was the best :v:
I tried creating this guy's hat/misc I would like to say WIP but at the moment this really is the best I can do

Bitches loves pale yellows that are derivative of cream spirit.
Made a simple texture but ran into a few issues. In the model viewer (minus the glasses): First of all because of animations the thing clips or just moves around. Not sure how to fix that, do I need to skin parts of the model to different bones? Secondly the wire I made is of a V shape (it's not a closed shape) so the backfaces are being hidden making half of the wire invisible. I'm currently at 993 polys so I'm not sure I want to add anything because I want this all to be one misc with a few styles (excluding the glasses etc).

I'm guessing these are grenade replacements, or are they just props?
I got the reload animations for the camera gun working, but there's some pretty major clipping. I might just make it so that none of the gun parts move during the animation.
How about styling it more like a compartment of the camera opening and a old film with the bullet in that.
props

From the major spec thread
Oh wow. http://store.steampowered.com/app/100980/ "Your 3D models can be auto-compiled directly to the Team Fortress 2 Workshop from within 3D Coat! "

From the major spec thread
Everything I've seen made with that is high poly, like sculpting level high poly. I don't see how that works with workshop... Also unless you buy the £193.08 professional version you can't even use it with workshop, because according to the developers you can't profit off anything made off the standard edition.
Tried teamcolours with glove yellow on the mask:
