"DOODIEPANTS CHANGE YOUR NAME RIGHT NOW OR I'LL BAN U!!!" and he was like "Why" 5 seconds later "Doodiepants has been kicked"
Another time I was in an eGo server without realizing it, but there were lots of little kids in there acting like retards, micspamming, and also cussing up a storm...which I thought would be rare for Ego, unless it was all of their little kid admins having a fuck-fest.

edge is terrible if you're playing CS:S or TF2, but edge's Insurgency servers are the best. And I personally like the no profanity rule that they have, it keeps out those 12 year old boys who scream FUCK BITCH COCK SHIT whenever they get killed.

You can scream whatever you want, it's an M rated game with a mute option.

thats why I try to get onto their Warpath server before I try the payload ones. you have to have an incredibly stacked team to win that map, otherwise it's just a fight till the timer runs down.
People are blowing this way out of proportion. I like the eGO servers because I don't have to worry about sv_pure being enabled, or some stupid server mods like low gravity and quake sounds. Personally, all the scenarios people mentioned, I have never experienced. I've ran around as an engineer spamming the jeers vocalization where he says "damnit" continuously and had no problems. I've even had a full server admin as a pocket medic while I was a soldier and when I dominated one of the demomen on the enemy team, the solder said "Dominated you scottish son of a bitch" and he burst out laughing on the microphone. Therefore I don't see how you guys are having problems with the characters cursing or are you guys using anything as a scapegoat just to get on the eGO hate bandwagon. I agree about the way they do their admining is flawed. They should put more restrictions on who can be eligible for the powers. But nonetheless I'd say their servers are decent to play on when I just want to jump in for a good few minutes.

in one round you can see about 5 stupid permabans, and i'm not kidding here, first time i joined their TF2 server, it was exactly like that
