Why not try for one? The wiki can always use more contributors. All it takes is an understanding of the rules/guidelines, a friendly, helpful attitude, and the time to put in to it.
Doesn't hurt to go on the IRC and make friends too.

Heh, yeah. Veteran editors get fast, especially with the bot in the IRC that notes edits as soon as they get made.
The task list, found at [url]http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Team_Fortress_Wiki:Tasks[/url] always has something in need of getting done. Maybe check that out?
That, and every contribution I've made has been undone.
For example, in the community strategy section, I added that the Croc-O-Style set is useful for combating hackers using aimbots (I even provided a hyperlink to the Hacking page).
Removed the next day.
The few bits of information and whatnot that I feel I could contribute would most likely be edited out within a day.
I figure it's worth a shot though.

I gave up after 2 years. Ninja's, my stuff was edited out, these days they're only after translators and the Wiki Cap is only given out once a month if that between something like 2000+ editors.
