I'm unsure about what to equip as the miscs though. Should I paint the pumpkin to match the skulls?

If you insist on using lime paint I recommend using these miscs/paints

Your loadouts look... Offensively random. Like, if you used a random number generator to pick your loadouts, I think you'd end up with more consistent themes. Your Soldier is a native American in a stereotypical bad disguise who also has a pink unicorn balloon. Your first Pyro is some kind of candyland native who for some reason wears a tie and for some completely different reason also wears a dragon skull. Your Medic is an 18th century-cosplayer who wears a lot of hats and also has a pink unicorn balloon. Your Spy is a Priest who is kind of into necromancy and kind of into mafia hats. Et cetera.
I kind of like the Pencil Pusher/Googly Gazer combo, though.

When I got the Holiday Punch, I kitted my Heavy out with a Large Luchadore and a Rather Festive Tree, changed my name to "THE CHAMPION OF CHRISTMAS", and went around tickle-POWing everyone.
It was an eyesore, but in the best possible way.
Or my Defensive Demo (Loch n Load, ScoRes, Caber), wearing a black Stuntman, Dangeresque Shades, Mann Up Badge, and a canteen.
None of that really goes together or fits some sort of "look", but I think it works.

While the loadouts you describe suggest that you have a very different taste in items than I do, I completely agree with the point you're making. Combining items that don't fit any easily defined theme but nevertheless look good together is of course perfectly fine, and indeed what most nice loadouts do. I guess theme was a bad choice of word on my part. What I meant was that I find Dr.Doughnut's loadouts mismatched and random-looking.

Scout-- Nice and simple, but the bright yellow sunglasses really conflict with the vanilla vibe you've got going. Paint them like After Eight or something. Cream Spirit at the very least.
Soldier-- I don't really get how the Groucho glasses fit with the Native American hat, but I'm kinda okay with it.
Pyro1-- Skull doesn't fit with the tie which doesn't fit with the candy.
Demo-- Personally, I think the Brown Bomber looks the worst on Demo out of all the classes. It clips with his collarthing, the bright tan parts contrast too much with the bomb jacket, and the brown bits blend in with his skin tone really weirdly. I'd paint it After Eight if you're looking to keep it on him.
Heavy-- The gym hair and glasses make no sense with the flannel shirt.
Medic-- Nothing really wrong. The Noble is kind of a silly hat though.
Sniper-- Fine as-is. Would look really nice hatless.
Spy-- Not sure if you were intentionally tying to play the Bombinominominomicon off as some sort of holy book or not. It sort of works though. My favorite out of your loadouts.
Engi-- Fine.
Pyro2-- Begs for death.
I was thinking of redoing my loadouts not to focus on my unusual starting with scout. Was thinking of having Front Runner+Track Terrorizer or hatless+Fast Learner but dont know what miscs to use. Any suggestions for either item loadout?

If you primarily use the backburner then by all means, attach it to the backburner. No point attaching it to a flamethrower you don't use.
